An established custom home builder
based in Melbourne's South East is looking for an experienced Administrator to join their small and collaborative team.
This company build quality homes
and deliver quality high-end customer service. As the Administrator you will be assisting both the office and construction team and dealing with clients in your day to day.
Previous experience working in an administration role in construction is essential,
preferably in residential building but will consider related construction industries (ie, Commercial or Property)
You will be joining a small but supportive and collaborative team. This role will suit someone who is looking to work in an office-based environment Monday to Friday!
Duties will include:
- Plans & permits
- Assisting the Team Administrator with pre-construction duties
- Some contracts administration and support
- Helping out with council and permit applications as needed
- Speaking to clients and following up on issues
- Keeping records updated
- General adhoc office support and administration
- At least two years experience working withing the construction industry in Australia
- A basic understanding of building contracts and permits
- Be a team player who is able to manage and motivate yourself
- An excellent customer service player
- Fantastic administration and organisational skills
