About the Role
An award winning, well-known and established builder & developer with a national presence and reputation for building quality custom & spec residential homes is currently experiencing growth with a range of projects across Sydney. Due to this, they are looking for an experienced Carpenter to work across their North-West Sydney projects in their well-oiled team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- All carpentry duties including the erection of Frame and Trusses, cladding, roofing, and window installation
- Single and Double story builds
- Assisting supervisors with planning, layouts and installation requirements
- Fulfill contractual obligations to all builds and deliver jobs on-time to a high quality
- Healthy and safety responsibilities and implementing best practice
- Read, interpret and apply plans
You will be a confident and approachable personality, driven to succeed within a sales environment whilst providing an authentic client experience. You will also possess;
- A trade background in Carpentry (Cert III required as minimum)
- NSW White Card
- First Aid Certificate
- Work experience within the residential housing market, with framing & cladding experience preferred
- A thorough understanding of Australian building regulations, WHSE regulations and Quality Assurance systems
- Excellent organisational, time management, and communication skills
- Fast paced work ability and ability to remain focused on site.
- A full driving license is essential, tools and your own vehicle
Remuneration & Benefits
The successful candidate will receive a competitive base salary of around $80k + car & phone allowance + super, as well as being rewarded with a generous commission structure.
