Engineering Manager

Role: Engineering Manager - Transmission
Location: Sydney, hybrid working.
Salary: up to $250.000 base + 
 
Our client is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead transmission design projects and serve as the key representative for all engineering-related inquiries, collaborating with the community, long-standing clients, and new partners.

• Lead scope tender development, detailed design, and engineering design components for transmission structures.
• Oversee concept layouts for structures while working closely with manufacturers who will produce the final designs.
• Conduct construction load assessments, restoration planning, and emergency response strategies.
• Manage maintenance method assessments to ensure long-term infrastructure reliability.
• Collaborate with a team of principal engineers, engineers, and line managers—we need a strong leader to drive projects forward.

• Bachelor of relevant engineering degree
• Proven experience in delivering design for major transmission projects, ideally in an EPC environment 
• Relevant soft skills for a managerial position in a national business
