Are you an experienced Environmental Advisor seeking your next challenge? Our client is a leading provider of infrastructure solutions with a proven track record of delivering large-scale projects across Australia. They are currently looking for a skilled Environmental Advisor to join their team in a FIFO capacity.
About the Role:
In this dynamic position, you’ll play a key role in ensuring environmental compliance and sustainability on major infrastructure projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing practical environmental management solutions.
- Assisting project teams with Construction Environmental Management Plans (CEMP), sub-plans, and environmental procedures.
- Managing environmental approval processes and compliance requirements.
- Conducting audits of CEMP, EOPs, SWMS, and other environmental documentation.
- Delivering environmental training to on-site and office-based staff.
- Monitoring environmental management controls, budgets, and project needs.
- Providing technical advice on environmental and sustainability matters to project teams.
- A degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years’ experience in environmental project management, ideally within infrastructure or energy-related sectors.
- Familiarity with large-scale infrastructure projects is a strong advantage.
- Comprehensive knowledge of state (QLD) and federal environmental regulations.
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Experience in implementing and auditing Construction Environmental Management Plans.
