Our client is a Nationally recognised Tier 2 commercial builder operating across all sectors including Health, Education, Commercial, and Residential with projects valued up to $400M.
You will be based from a centrally located office in Sydney Metro, and will be working closely with a well-established Estimating team.
Your duties will include:
- Preparation of initial estimating assessment of tenders.
- Perform trade break ups of documentation, appropriate trade subcontractor selection lists, and liaise with subcontractors to ensure they have a full understanding of the required scope of works and programme.
- Final preparation and presentation of rated and coded Bill of Quantities and/or cost plan for internal review and issuing appropriate information to stakeholders.
- Comparison and analysis of subcontractor pricing.
- Proven experience as an Estimator working on residential or commercial new build projects valued $30M+
- Proactive problem solver but also able to ask for help if required.
- Ambition to commit long term to the business
- Strong attention to detail with excellent communication skills
