ESTIMATOR
Our client, a leading building design firm specialising in custom homes, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Estimator to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately estimating costs for new builds and renovations, playing a key role in project success.
Responsibilities:
- Review project plans, specifications, and requirements to develop accurate cost estimates.
- Analyse project data and prepare detailed quantity take-offs.
- Obtain and compare quotes from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Prepare and submit bid proposals to clients.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Architects, and Engineers to ensure timely project completion.
- Stay updated on construction costs, materials, and industry trends.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in construction.
- Some Sales Estimating experience
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management
- Proficiency in estimating software, Microsoft Excel, and other relevant tools.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with clients, project managers, and key stakeholders.
