Finance Manager

Design & Build are currently working with a construction contractor in Melbourne to identify a Finance Manager on a permanent basis. 

You'll be joining an established contractor with 20+ years' experience, yet they're still looking to grow and evolve - that's where you'll fit in. 

We're looking for a Finance Manager to join the team on a permanent basis to work closely with the Senior Management team, where you will play a key role in the direction of the business.

Role & Responsibilities

You will manage and continuously improve the financial and admin functions of the business, and will have responsibility for all job costing, accounting, reporting, billing, revenue collection, internal control, audit/tax and financial project planning.

• Manage the month end process and ensure that transaction reporting within the department is completed in a timely and accurate manner.
• Ensure timeliness, accuracy and usefulness of financial and management reporting for Management.
• Ensure timely preparation of monthly management reports for the operating business units of the group and on a consolidated basis.
• Ensure timeliness, accuracy and usefulness of financial and management reporting for Management.

• Manage report on and forecast the cash requirements of the business.
