HSE Advisor – Civil Construction
Our client is a leading Civil and Engineering Construction companies with focus on earthwork, roads, and civils. They were recently awarded a Main Roads project due to start in March and are now seeking a HSE Advisor to work on a 2:1 or 10:4 roster DIDO from Perth.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Implement, and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and programs in accordance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Provide HSE training and support to site personnel, fostering a culture of safety and awareness.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, preparing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Monitor and review risk assessments and safe work method statements (SWMS) to ensure effectiveness and compliance.
- Cert IV Work, Health and Safety or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working in the civil industry.
- Strong understanding of ISO standards and compliance requirements.
- Knowledge of relevant safety regulations, standards, and best practices specific to the construction sector.
- Up to $120k base + 15% uplift + super + vehicle
