About the company:
A family owned head contractor who have been established for 45 years with plans to double in size over the next year due to some massive project wins.
They specialise in unique commercial, government, and defence projects across Australia and D&C modular buildings in the Pacific Islands and Africa. They are looking for an experience hydraulic project engineer to play a key role in the design and delivery of these unique projects.
What your day looks like:
- Review consultant designs, prepare detailed mark-ups, and coordinate adjustments to ensure alignment with project requirements.
- Oversee procurement processes, ensuring timely delivery and quality of hydraulic components and materials during the construction phase.
- Manage quality assurance for all hydraulic systems, conducting regular inspections to maintain high standards and compliance.
- Collaborate closely with site teams, subcontractors, and consultants to resolve design and construction challenges.
- Monitor project timelines, budget allocations, and resource use to meet project milestones efficiently.
- 5+ years hydraulic engineering or construction experience in Australia.
- Strong understanding of hydraulic design, construction processes, and
installations. - Ability to manage procurement for hydraulic systems and quality
assurance. - Great understanding of Australian standards and regulations.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with consultants, subcontractors and stakeholders.
- Up to $140k plus super - based on skills & experience
- 2 days WFH flexibility
