Our client has been servicing the insurance industry for 25+ years, providing specialised insurance building repairs across Australia and New Zealand following an insurable event such as fire, flood, impact, storm and malicious damage.
Skills and Experience
- Strong technical building knowledge with a qualified Carpentry Trade background preferred
- Strong time and organisational management skills with the ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to be empathetic to the needs of the customer
- Insurance industry building experience is considered an advantage but not essential
- Computer skills including experience in Microsoft office (excel, word, outlook)
- Conduct site assessment and quotations for property damaged by insurable events, such as flood, fire etc.
- Assessing damage by collecting information to provide accurate causation reports
- Deliver accurate quotations
- An understanding of BCA and Australian standards is preferred
- Liaise between insurance companies and insured home owners.
- Assist customer service staff with client related queries.
