About the Role
This Australian project homes builder is a household name with over 30 years experience in the industry, known for their quality constructions. Currently building upwards of around 300+ new homes a year across NSW, they are in need of a Permits Officer who can oversee all processes following the initial sales process through to construction commencement. You will be joining a team of construction administrators working across tasks such as;
- Proactively manage and prioritise pre-site requirements and approvals to support the Home Building delivery program
- Co-ordinate and oversee preparation of planning proposals, from single through to master planning and large scale DAs in support of various major residential subdivision developments
- Stay up-to-date with local building codes, zoning regulations, and development requirements to ensure that projects are aligned with regulatory standards.
- Analyse development issues and propose solutions
- Represent the Company with various Government Agencies and/or Council on all development project matters where/when relevant and required, including attending meetings
- Ensuring projects comply with planning schemes and building regulations
- Collaborate with various stakeholders such as Architects, Project Managers, Consultants
- Maintaining accurate documentation and file management
- Liaising with relevant stakeholders both internal and external
- Ensuring efficient workflow and that timelines are met
- 3-5 years experience within the residential construction sector in a similar role is essential
- FRAMEWORK experience preferred
- Tertiary qualifications in Town Planning, Construction or related discipline is highly regarded
- The ability to multi-task and prioritise a changing workload
- Strong IT skills including MS Office suite and the ability to grasp new systems with ease
- Strong English skills both written & verbal
The successful candidate will receive a remuneration package up to $90k
+ superannuation.
This is a full time, 5 days p/w office based role. Mon - Fri.
