Delivering works for insurance companies, they work closely with the client and insurer to ensure everything runs smoothly and the projects are safe, affordable, and successful. Committed to making customers happy, our client sets the industry standard both during the repairs and throughout the whole insurance claim process.
Objectives:
- Coordinate insurance repair claims ($1-$100k+)
- Ensure timely, safe, and budget-compliant project completion
- Meet/exceed Australian building standards
- Allocate repairs to subcontractors
- Manage job delivery within time and budget constraints
- Conduct cost-effective tendering processes
- Handle multiple claims simultaneously
- Engage with subcontractors and homeowners
- Ensure quality outcomes within budget and timeline
- Maintain proactive client communication
- Keep claims up-to-date, update stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with building legislation, safety, and environmental standards
- Oversee invoicing and retention for complex/high-risk work
- Monday to Friday office-based position in Metropolitan Melbourne
- Knowledge of building practices
- Understanding of insurance procedures
- Successful track record in a related industry
- Experience with project management software
- Goal-oriented and organised team player
- Self-motivated and self-directed
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to predict monthly financial outcomes accurately
- Build rapport with stakeholders
- Work cooperatively to achieve common objectives
