Design & Build are looking for an experienced two Safety Advisors for one of our clients where Safety is paramount in every aspect of operations. With expertise spanning diverse sectors, they are renowned for delivering innovative projects of the highest quality.
The Role
- The two projects are located in the Ormeau and Ipswich region.
- Ensure WHS processes are carried out effectively
- Coordinate and manage safety related tasks
- Provide support and advice to site teams
- Ensure safety documentation is up to date
- Pre starts, inductions, site walks.
- Provide guidance on training on Systems compliance.
- Risk identification & assessment, ensuring regulations are met
- Carry out health and safety internal & external audits and work place inspections
- Training of staff
- Minimum Cert IV in WHS
- 4+ years of HSE experience within commercial construction
- Previous experience working on Industrial projects valued $30M+
- Be able to develop and maintain relationships
- Have a good understanding of current legislation, regulations & building codes
- Be articulate, well presented and a clear communicator
