About the role:
- Oversee company operations, including reporting, statutory compliance, and cash flow management, ensuring adherence to regulations, up-to-date reconciliations, and timely deadlines
- Develop budgets in collaboration with project and joint venture teams to align with company requirements
- Support group management by compiling reports and conducting variance analysis
- Coordinate with external auditors as needed
- Manage billing processes, ensuring accuracy, proper documentation, and timely issuance while engaging with stakeholders as required.
- Provide financial support to internal stakeholders
- Conduct job costing analysis
- Perform general corporate accounting functions
- Maintain internal audit processes and financial controls
- 4+ years experience as a senior accountant within the construction industry
- Must have current experience in oil & gas, energy, resources, mining, or commercial industries
- Proficient in SAP
- Detailed orientated with a proactive attitude
- Demonstrated experience in adapting to changing environments
- Flexible work arrangements, begin and end later, or start and finish earlier, including work-from-home
