We’re seeking a highly experienced Senior Design Manager
to join the team and lead design development during the early contractor involvemen t (ECI)
stages for their ambitious and diverse portfolio of projects.
The Role
As the Senior Design Manager, you will:
- Drive design outcomes during the pre-construction phase, ensuring alignment with project objectives, budgets, and timelines.
- Collaborate closely with clients, architects, consultants, and key stakeholders to refine design concepts and resolve challenges.
- Lead the development of innovative, practical, and cost-effective design solutions, leveraging the expertise in advanced construction techniques.
- Manage risk by identifying design challenges early and ensuring they are addressed proactively.
- Oversee the seamless transition from design to construction, ensuring all documentation meets the highest standards.
You are a seasoned professional with a strong background in design management and pre-construction processes. Your experience allows you to confidently manage complex projects and guide multidisciplinary teams to success.
Key Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in Design Management, with a focus on early contractor involvement (ECI).
- A proven track record of delivering high-quality outcomes on large-scale construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of Australian construction standards, regulations, and methodologies.
