Design & Build are currently looking to recruit a Senior Structural Drafter
on behalf of a nationally recognised engineering consultancy with a strong reputation across Australia. In this role, you would be responsible for preparing detailed drafting and design documentation for commercial and high-rise residential projects.
What your day looks like:
- Produce detailed structural drawings and drafting documentation based on project specifications for commercial and residential buildings.
- Work closely with engineers, architects, contractors, and clients to ensure accurate design and seamless integration.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior drafters and support the broader drafting team.
- Ensure adherence to engineering best practices and local codes and standards.
- 5+ years local experience as a structural drafter, preferably within the buildings sector.
- Proficient in the use of Revit software.
- Strong knowledge of Australian building codes, standards, and legislation.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively.
