Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Temporary Works Drafter with strong Revit skills to join the team. In this role, you will support the design and planning of temporary works for civil and structural projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drafting, with proficiency in Revit, and a desire to develop their career further in a dynamic and growing organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the design team to prepare detailed and accurate Revit drawings for temporary works designs, including scaffolding, shoring, and other construction elements.
- Develop and maintain drafting documents, ensuring they align with the project specifications and regulations.
- Review project plans, specifications, and related documentation to understand the design requirements.
- Provide technical support and advice on temporary works design and implementation.
- Ensure that all drawings are compliant with relevant standards and industry best practices.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes, procedures, and tools.
- Assist with the coordination and communication of design changes between project teams.
- Manage the timely delivery of accurate drafting outputs to meet project deadlines.
- Proven experience as a Temporary Works Drafter, or similar role, in civil and structural engineering projects.
- Strong proficiency in Revit for drafting and 3D modeling.
- Familiarity with temporary works systems such as scaffolding, formwork, and shoring.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.
- Strong understanding of construction standards, codes, and regulations.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach to tasks and responsibilities.
- A desire for career growth and the ability to take on increasing responsibility in a fast-paced environment.
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil/Structural Engineering or related fields (or equivalent experience).
- Experience with other drafting software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, BIM).
- Knowledge of Australian Standards and local building regulations.
